ABOUT
THE OWNER/GROOMER
Our Owner/ Groomer is Katherine Wilhelm. She has always had a passion and strong connection to animals. She learned to groom dogs very young from her mom, who showed Afghan Hounds at competitions. Her earliest memories of animals, other than just the love she had for them, was taking care of them by brushing, bathing, and clipping their hair. Growing up she learned to groom Afghan Hounds, Lhasa Apsos, and cats. In 2014 she rescued a Carolina Dog, Saydee, and this is where her adulthood love of dogs really blossomed. Saydee inspired her to start her first business, PUPsupplies, making custom ice pack collars, light up collars, regular collars, and leashes. Her Carolina Dog passed in 2021 and she decided to get a Golden Doodle, Chloe. Her Golden Doodle made her realize the passion and love she had for grooming animals and this inspired her to start her second business, Katherine’s Pet Grooming.

price estimates
No surprises when you come to pick up your pet. We can give an estimate when you drop off your pet. Your pet is sent home with a report card that tells you everything we did and anything we found. We offer 10% discounts to those who choose to join one of our monthly subscriber plans as a thank you for keeping your pet well groomed.
HAIR CARE
We look at hair differently (more like human hair) and use very good quality shampoos and conditioners specific to each dog's hair type. The use of good hair products allows us to easily and painlessly detangle hair, de-shed hair, and leave a naturally clean smell.
Sizing Guidelines
We use height to determine the "size" of your dog based on the AKC Agility Height Divisions, because height is a better indicator of a dog's size vs weight. To get your dog's wither height measure the front leg from the floor to the shoulder/back while the dog is standing.
We meet with every pet owner before grooming begins to look at the condition of the hair, answer any questions, and choose the desired hair cut. During the grooming process we record the details about your pet that we will discuss with you at pick up.
